Trainees of the Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Bayern Mitte eG visit VeroStone
Why is it helpful to allow a tolerance in quantity in the Description of Goods of natural stone in a Letter of Credit ? Why is there no crate packing when blocks are being transported ? What is a mitre cut and why is it not added to the quantity of the material ?
To receive an idea what can be hidden behind the sober specifications of a Letter of Credit, 15 trainees from the Volksbank Raiffeisenbank Bayern Mitte branch in Ingolstadt and the experts for foreign business Mrs. Dries and Mrs. Beyer visited VeroStone company.
Despite the rainy weather and the resulting muddy ground the 15 young people were in a good mood, when they learned about the formation and extraction of the Jura Limestone during a tour through the quarry. The big wheel loaders which transport the Jura blocks from the quarry into the factory impressed the visitors. Also quite interesting for the guests were the gang saws and machines in the factory, which further process the blocks to random slabs, façade material or tiles.
We hope that through our explanations we were able to contribute to a mutual understanding and wish all trainees a lot of success in their professional career.
