BOB.Rheinallee Ludwigshafen

Architect: Johannes Schneider Architect BDA

Ludwigshafen, Germany

The Balanced Office Building BOB.Rheinallee, which was developed using the BIM method, creates optimal conditions for inspired and productive work in an energy-efficient environment. In close proximity to the center of Ludwigshafen, not far from the Rhine promenade, the office building fits in perfectly with the surroundings.
Its clear design is underlined by an exterior façade made of VeroStone Jura Gold. More than 2.000 m2 of this high-quality natural stone were installed, thus continuing the concept of sustainability. The rough honed surface of the Jura Gold enhances the bright and friendly architecture of the building. Fabricated according to cutting lists, the panels, which are mainly 4 cm thick, received various drill holes and rake cuts at the factory.
In order to stand out and be visible from afar, the letters “bob” were subsequently sandblasted on the honed surface.
