St. Petersburg, Russia

On Vasilievsky Island, the largest island in the Neva Delta of St. Petersburg a new office building arises in this prestigious location. Located between the Shkiperskiy Canal and the Kovsh Galernogo fairway, the shape of the “Maritime Residence” adapts to the triangular headland between the waterways and offers a direct view over the coast to the sea.

The architecture in the style of pre-revolutionary St. Petersburg serves as the basis for the entire complex, which consists of four buildings connected by a gallery.

VeroStone Jura Cream was chosen for the exterior facade, quarried from the middle layers of the Jura with a quiet and uniform coloring.

The scope of delivery included raw pieces, which were only sawn and further processed on site, where they received a split surface, as well as 3 cm thick panels with a honed surface, already cut according to cutting lists. In the lower areas of the entire complex, alternating rows of honed and split surfaces were installed.
