In the popular district of Spinningfields in Salford, Greater Manchester the new Premier Inn Hotel occupies a corner position on Irwell Street and Stanley Street, next to the river Irwell. The seven-storeyed building has a façade of red sandstone called “Desert Red”, combined with black charcoal brick and glass. The 2 cm thick honed sandstone panels of the façade were fabricated according to cutting lists, some of them with rake cuts. The façade is installed with the rainscreen system by Generix.
